Connection I noticed when I watched episode 6, between the faces. Either it’s intentional to be reminiscent of the old series, or the animators aren’t very creative with hyped-up yelling people.

So here’s what I worked on for the past few hours. :D” It’s a terribly depressing scene, but I really like it for its dark vibes as well as how its animated. I feel like you can see Yoshida’s artwork especially well here.
I also had to rewatch some scenes to remember that old guy’s name. I honestly tried wracking my brain for five minutes until I gave up and went to rewatch stuff, pff.
